At an impromptu party, was asked to play "something." Big speakers. Big space. "Experienced" crowd. Had to bang it. After this improvised performance, dude came up and said, "That was bad ass!" I honestly thought he was going to ask, "Duh F#ck was that?!" and punch me.

The one-and-only Jacoti Sommes and I play together under the moniker "Kaptin Kirk" (and sometimes M.U.L.E.).  Created using samplers, drum machines, drums, guitars, synths and sequencers, our music is always improvised and recorded live on 2 tracks.  This album was recorded live at The Hawk's Nest Artist Residency (Athens, Ohio) in the summer of 2019.
