absolutely on music is Torture the Artist's monthly radio show broadcasted live from the Übel & Gefährlich in Hamburg, Germany for their community radio station [sic]nal. Recommended by Telekom Electronic Beats absolutely on music is hosted by Torture the Artist head Holger Breuer and Marc Wolf, a project affiliate and co-club owner of Luna, a cultural and nightlife institution in Kiel. The first hour of absolutely on music, which is nominally referring to Haruki Murakami’s eponymous work, is either dedicated to upcoming, trending or outstanding music releases or a deeply personal and intimate conversation with changing guests about their music and further related topics. The show culminates in DJ-sets from Holger and Marc’s guests and the host themselves, taking the listeners on a journey through the curators’ most recent findings thereby switching between various genres such as House, Breaks, Acid or whatever’s found its way on the turntables respectively on their USBs. Having heard one of the shows it becomes obvious that Marc and Holger as well as their guests do not just love music, they know music and do not hold back to pass on their stock in a humorous manner to their listener and curate highly emotive sets to release them into the night or whenever and wherever one tunes in.
