While preparing for a show with the illustrious Jim Schreck and illuminating Milking Diamonds (11/28/2015 in Geneva, NY at the FLounge), I felt the need to whip up something special. Started a remix of the soon-to-be-released Jim Schreck song "Letters to Mumbai" and somehow snuck in some samples from Milking Diamonds' "Obvious." (milkingdiamonds.bandcamp.com/track/obvious)

Back in 2008, the famous 8bitoperators put together a megamix of various chipmusic artists' covers of "Tomorrow Never Knows" by the Beatles. We Shrimps recorded a version using an NES with a MIDINES stuffed in it, a Game Boy running LSDJ and a Game Boy Pocket with Pushpin. Like the original, the bass and drums were recorded live together, with all the other stuff added in the studio later on. In honor of the late George Martin, presented here for the first time is our entire version, remixed and still not mastered in 2016. It is most definitely a tribute to his crazy studio skills that appeased crazy drug addict demands, enhanced their artistic vision, revolutionized what it meant to be a producer and just flat out melted brains forever. Our dear friend, huge Beatles nerd and sometimes bandmate, Robert J. Smith of GENERIC AMERICANS, sang his ass off for this and we, of course, shitted the fuck out of it. Hope you enjoy the wineglass.
