I wrote this song during the year we were hospitalized, overcoming my daughter's cancer. The lyrics talk about how sometimes I would literally find myself on the floor, unable to get up, and I thought I was so strong, but I couldn't make it through the day. And the next day it was the same. I couldn't make it through the day. I was on the floor trying to get up and fight the day, having not slept all night, crying all night hiding to appear strong. The lyrics say, "Believe in me, this is Skin of Cecile."
