*Carta a mi autoestima*

No sé por dónde empezar. Me siento como si estuviera viviendo en un cuerpo que no es mío, como si mi reflejo en el espejo fuera una mentira. Me han dicho tantas veces que no soy suficiente, que no soy lo suficientemente buena, que he empezado a creerlo.

Recuerdo las palabras de mi madre, que siempre me comparaba con mis hermanos y me decía que debía ser más como ellos. Recuerdo las burlas de mis compañeros de clase, que se reían de mi apariencia y me hacían sentir como si fuera invisible. Recuerdo las relaciones que he tenido, en las que me han hecho sentir como si fuera un objeto, algo que se puede usar y tirar.

Me siento como si estuviera caminando sobre arenas movedizas, sin saber qué paso dar a continuación. Me siento como si estuviera perdida en un laberinto sin salida. Me siento como si no fuera nadie.

Pero a veces, en momentos de debilidad, me pregunto: ¿y si es verdad? ¿Y si no soy suficiente? ¿Y si no soy digna de amor y respeto?

Quiero que sepas, autoestima, que estoy cansada de sentirme así. Estoy cansada de ser mi peor enemiga. Estoy cansada de dudar de mí misma.

Quiero aprender a quererme, a aceptarme tal como soy. Quiero aprender a verme con ojos amables. Quiero aprender a creer en mí misma.

No sé si sea posible, pero quiero intentarlo. Quiero ser mi propia amiga, mi propia aliada. Quiero ser mi propia luz en la oscuridad.

My favorite kind of music, for as long as I can remember, has always been anything and everything electronic. I obviously grown to love many other kinds of music as I got older, and well, genres don't really matter anymore; I mean... what the heck even is a genre in this day in age??? (go listen to Vylet Pony... favorite artist of all time... lma.o...), but yea, I love everything electronic.
