Composed in between late night sessions working on their Master's degree. APH features two tracks exploring very different realms of KERUB's leftfield approach to music.

Cicadas samples a recording that KERUB engineered and organized of an impromptu quartet* performing Josquin des Prez' 1505 frottola "El Grillo (The Cricket)". The song is stretched and warped to accompany fast breaks and abstract sound design. The creation of which was inspired by frantic sessions in the studio.

Dreams was originally created as an exploration of sound and simple ideas - "Dreams are for those who don't leave them", the lyric is repeated ad nauseam. The point of which is to convey a meaningless cycle of life and rebirth.
