A Circus House / Electro Swing mix from 2022, one of my favorites. I was DJing late night 12pm - 2am for SHHHH a silent Disco Camp at Critical Northwest, a Washignton State based Burning Man regional. It's a great event. We had been playing and carousing all week and after the effigy burned people wanted one more cathartic release. 

Description for my silly image:
When the lights turned on and everyone froze, the typing had stopped. At one the did as planned, reading outloud the words on their page. It was the same, a chant from the wires and a solem vow. Joy each paper was imprinted with, over and over, Joy.

A once sedate warehouse contained a mystery deep and scary. Who would leave these clues, and why would they fill the space with horns and ecstatic sounds. Surely they were a mad person. A person unhinged.

They toiled in the day, they toiled in the night, never a wet foot, always dry. A requirement for them to compete they could not meet, as everyone knew not to go into the pool. So to compete they needed a new strategy, a more comprehensive one that made the competition quit before they even made it to town. And so they worked with dark chants and stolen bits of personal effects to become local champs.

Renegade Swim Team

Long ago the mysteries had become part of the food as well. Everyone knew. The mushrooms were best when picked in a full moon. Each cap was possessed of a singular flavor that was both earthy and bodily, and possessed they were in a different way. Each sprout would come from the greater whole, and each harvest was done in accord with the ritual; a humming and a "yep" to keep the greater fungus in accord.
