Back in 1993, the resident DJ of the legendary Ministry of Sound put together what would become the first in a series of club mix tapes that went on to achieve worldwide acclaim, laying the foundations for the mixtape culture we know today.

That man was TONY HUMPHRIES and to many, he is still the GOAT.

Tony returns to Ministry of Sound on 7th February as our very special guest, joining the Sacred Medicine duo, Ron Trent & Joe Claussell, for an unforgettable night.

Hailed as a true house music masterpiece, this collection took club compilations to a whole new level. Compiled with the very best tracks of the era, this collection has stood the test of time as a musical masterpiece. 

We are proud to see our own Michael Watford’s “Love Changeover” take its place among these legendary tracks. It is sometimes recognized as one of the greatest Ministry of Sound compilations of the 1990s.

On 23rd May, Hard Times at MOS will recreate a momentous chapter in house music history as Masters at Work return to the decks.

This is more than a party — it’s a celebration of a sound that shaped generations. A momentous “Return to the Box” awaits, honoring the hallowed ground of house music.
