His first artist EP, <em>Ys</em>, under his Gardens of God moniker broke on Maceo Plex's Ellum Audio imprint at the beginning of 2014 and has since released a further two records establishing his place at the core of the label's aesthetic and building up key press support from the likes of XLR8R and Attack Magazine. The label takeover of the club this Easter Thursday will see him make his debut here in Farringdon and to demonstrate his colour rich and warmly toned take on the four four genre we invited him to share an exclusive new mix for the fabric blog...

With a constant eye and ear on new talent, SCI+TEC boss Dubfire uncovers his latest rising star and adds more young blood to the ever expanding label family. 

Our latest recruit is El Paso resident Raul Facio. Having already impressed with releases on Natura Viva and Deeperfect, Facio brings his fresh minimal sound to SCI+TEC on the Infinite EP. The four track collection dives us head first into a murky and mysterious techno underbelly. With their strong, driving basslines, all four tracks maintain a shadowy shroud, as rubbery sounds, piercing hits and wavelike washes appear from the darkness. 

A strong debut from one of techno’s most exciting young prospects.
