In 2018 initiated music-collaboration project between two brothers with a musical background in funk, jazz and psychedelic rock. Lately became fascinated by analog synthesizers and production techniques in a very broad sense from ambient to downtempo genres. 
Within the Dune project we blend our musical skills of bass-playing (David) and drumming (Jip aka Cantillate). Since most ears also want melody, we consent, and add some melody... 
While playing, recording and producing we love to challenge the 'danceable' consistent character of electronic music. Our productions always start with a jam session, embracing the 'human' feel. Quite frequently this results in some ironic way of producing, taking it all not to serious by translating our sense of humor to the realm of sound ;)
For us Dune is mainly a learning project, exploring different aspects of playing, recording, producing, mixing, mastering and sharing ideas.
