They have been playing ole school house, electro & breaks and deep minimal work that brings out extremely fun energy.

Dunia Musik thrives on a profound sense of camaraderie fostered through a shared immigrant experience that brings our collective dreams to life. The driving force behind our group is a deep-rooted passion for blending the diverse cultures we grew up with. "Dunia" translates to "world" in Hindi, Turkish, Indonesian, and Arabic, encapsulating the powerful energy we all embody and share.

🎧Born in Turkey and based in LA, Batu is a DJ, producer, and label head who has been a presence in the electronic music scene since early 2010s. For him, energy and authenticity are super essential, always ensuring that boogie is always present. A revered music collector, Batu is renowned for his eclectic and unpredictable sets that travel over groovy, funky but minimal, up lifting but somehow reminiscent of the 90s and early Y2K territories, skillfully blending house with breaks.

Dunia Musik has been around since 2021 and was built on a strong fellowship by cruising on the same immigrant paths to make the reality of shared dreams. The energy that motivates the collective is having the same passion of merging the  cultures that we all grew up with. Dunia represents ‘’World ‘’ in Hindi, Turkish, Indonesian, and Arabic which is the biggest energy that we all share.

In this concept, Dunia Musik is attempting to present global grooves and teleport the unique tunes from their cultures to the masses.


As with any powerful force that unites us, there are countless stories about the origins of Dunia. Some say that it was born out of the sound of the first heartbeat, echoing across the vast expanse of the universe and imbuing us all with a sense of connection. Others believe that it was brought to us by the wind, carrying the melodies of distant lands and bringing people together in harmony.

There are those who say that Dunia is a living, breathing entity, a force of nature that flows through all of us and guides us towards a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. They speak of it as a bridge between worlds, a beacon of hope that shines in even the darkest of times.

But regardless of its origins, one thing is certain: Dunia is a force for good, a unifying energy that transcends borders and brings people together in celebration of our shared humanity.
