With this track, I was aiming to make it more "dancy", so I started with a groovy sample bassline from splice as an inspiration, but then I replaced it with my own.

I try as much as I can not to use samples for the main melodic elements (bass, synth, etc..) just because I feel like by doing so, it will help me find my sound in the long term.

The message is about sometimes following your instincts will require you to take some risks, which kinda makes life interesting.
