Our 97th podcast, and number two of the Summer Series, will be provided by the Portuguese artist CRAVO. As one of the founding members of the notorious Hayes Collective, CRAVO made quite the name for himself in the recent year with a couple of outstanding releases. Both his solo release, “Eternal Paradox EP” on Setaoc Mass’ SK_Eleven, and his co-created “Klockworks 32”, which he released together with his good friend VIL on Ben Klock’s label of the same name, shows the craft with which CRAVO shapes his tracks.

For FrenzyPodcast 097, CRAVO created a one hour mix in which he presses the pedal and does not let go. Some heavy hitting techno alternating with his signature groove, and some futuristic elements in between, characterize the sound which he expresses in this mix. @kessell is the alter ego of Valentin Corujo, half of the Exium duo and Polegroup member, this is his solo project where he explores the most liquid of his sonic palette. Granulart Recordings is his new label, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub, classic Detroit sound and 90´s techno influences, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.

As a producer, he has been on an absolute tear, dropping ep after ep across every prestige labels worldwide. This list includes MORD, Kazerene, PoleGroup, Edit Select, Faut Section, Newrhythmic Records, Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Planet Rhythm, and many more. His discography’s pedigree is hard to match, and his work stands tall as an important and uncompromising vision in a genre that is often derivative and uninspired.

I’m proud to call this talented artist a friend, a comrade in the struggle, and a true visionary of brutal expressionism.

We are super excited to present the 142nd episode from @aumrecordings co-founder TENO!

TENO is a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, who has been making a strong impact on the techno scene in recent years through both his DJ sets and productions. His activities now extend not only throughout Japan but also across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia.

On the international podcast circuit, he was featured as the first artist in the new FOWRE series on Eerste Communie, curated by Marrøn, one of the world’s leading DJs based in the Netherlands. He has also contributed mixes to labels such as Polygonia’s IO Records, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE.

As a producer, TENO continues to release music on labels around the globe. Through his own techno label Aum Recordings, he released an EP featuring a remix by Munich-based artist Polygonia. Additionally, he collaborated with world-renowned DJ Wata Igarashi, who contributed a remix for TENO’s first vinyl EP, DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK.

In February 2025, TENO launched a second label, Monos, with the aim of expressing his unique artistic identity. The label has already released the Violet EP and Primrose EP, with the Yuugao EP set to follow soon.
