Abstract Mechanisms is a sublabel of Mexico's leading techno imprint, Illegal Alien. Also run by Ricardo Garduno, it has featured contributions by Jonas Kopp, Ruman, Singular Anomalies, Yrsen, and Mari Mattham.

The new four-track EP 'Solitary State' is by Decoder, a much loved American artist from Dallas who has released on Jeff Mills' Axis Records, Amotik Records, TWR72's Float, Edit Select Records, Molecular Recordings, and Science Cult, amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Phantom 4" with a deep and introspective sound. Dancing modular tones set the muted and gentle atmosphere around the stuttering kick and tinkering hats for a joyful sonic trip into space.
