I am so-proud of my Puerto Rican people! We need to continue to expose corruption and, to fight against the colonial benefactors of capitalism that has kept our people down since the inception of our occupation since 1898.

We must continue to mobilize and expose corruption in all its forms!  Puerto Rican's have suffered for over a 100-years, mentally, emotionally and monitarily enslaved for capitalistic gains. It is time for independence, it is time for my people to rise against the occupation that has kept the American foot on the necks of Puerto Ricans since the Spanish - American War!

This musical journey begins with the flavors, colors and smells of Puerto Rico, combined with my Nuyorican roots. It also embodies the voice of Pedro Albizu Campos, The Godfather of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party Movement! He was jailed because he spoke against the establishment. He was tortured and dehumanized. Till this day, Señor Campos resonates for us Puerto Ricans the cry of freedom, the resistance, and the pride that has never faltered of the call to freedom and unity! At 1:58.00 I take the musical journey back to my NYC Latin Roots, celebrating my Nuyorican incarnation! 

I dedicate this mix to Señor Campos and all my peoples who continue to fight the everyday struggle of independence!
