It was time for plan b. The second phase of the operation and a chance to broaden their horizons. Perhaps they hadn’t gone far enough the first time around or maybe it was simply a case of that they’d underestimated the force required. It wasn’t easy to encourage lost souls to seek serenity and find the light. It had taken him a long time to stumble through the darkness of the forest and find the clearing.

They were out here in the middle of nowhere, trying to persuade a people of a power they could not see, hear or feel. At least not as they knew it… For it was in the dense green of the trees, the radiant glow of the sunbeams which poured down upon the old woods, the soft breeze as it blew and rustled the leaves in the light of the Autumn morning. Perhaps phase two would make them see it all…
 
Ngoni Egan is a Rotterdam based producer from Dublin. He is set to release a new EP via Carista’s record label United Identities and trust us when we tell you it’s a little bit special. Fast paced, wandering between ethereal sounds and textures it bangs in all the right places and leaves enough space in between for free thought and imagination.

Nantes-based Collectif Solstice announces their first Various Arists compilation, with the participation of 13 artists coming from various electronic scenes (France, United Kingdom, Germany, Brazil). First volume is focused on the minimal & darker side of club music, while second volume is brighter & funkier.

After members of the collective met up with a number of new artists and producers in 2023, the idea of the Various Artist project quickly came to life and led to a meeting with Diego Verissimo, a sound engineer and producer who will be responsible for mastering the project.

PREMIERE : Samuel Kauffman - Grasshopper

In recent years, @2dzc has emerged as a highly sought-after DJ, leaving her mark in Austria with performances at numerous venues. As a key member of the Acid Lambada crew, she has been featured in well-established curated festivals and events, both locally and internationally.

Her productions mirror her passion for synth-driven dance music, characterized by dreamy pads and playful melodies. No stranger to Fortunea Records, having already been featured in two editions of the @fortunea Cookies VA-Series, she is set to present her first 4-track EP in February.

The 'Conversations with Birds' EP is a meticulously balanced collection of tracks designed for each phase of a club night.

Drawing inspiration from elements of 90s House and progressive sounds, 'Visual Mind' and 'In Sight' are dreamlike journeys with lively synth melodies, joyful basslines, and captivating pads and textures. The latter has also been reworked by Fortunea regular Peletronic, infusing crisp minimalistic rhythms into his 'Blurred Vision' Mix.

The standout piece of the EP is the title track on the B-side, a beautiful composition that elicits uplifting moments and feelings of euphoria. It features emotive chords, airy strings, and soothing sustained tones that enhance the powerful groove.

The record promises to immerse listeners in an engaging journey that captures Dzc.'s distinctive vision.

'Conversations with Birds' will be digitally released on February 23, followed shortly by a limited vinyl edition.

'Basement Philosophy', the long-awaited debut album from Glasgow’s legendary Domenic Cappello.

Domenic started making music under his Hutton Drive alias over 20 years ago, releasing on Soma Records and through his own label, Seven Sign Recordings. More recently, his productions have featured on Sub Club’s Nautilus Rising, Verdant Recordings and Alien Communications.

Cappello’s very own Subculture sound is present throughout 'Basement Philosophy', in which he travels through varying sonic textures and moods, to create something which is captivating and potent in equal measure.

Camion Bazar return to ENEMY DANCE with a new EP, ‘Sangue’ comprised of four new hard hitting originals from the Paris-based duo.

ENEMY DANCE is the label of Camion Bazar focused on raw, ready-to-dance cuts and featuring EP’s and singles from the duo plus remixes from their favourite artists. Bangers, fast kicks, hand-made hardware sounds, unique design and emotional hard grooves. Even our enemies will dance! Here comes the first vinyl release of Enemy Dance and this EP is a nod to the Italian horror cinema from the ’70s by the likes of Dario Argento (Sangue means blood), they navigate between genres such as electro, rave house, progressive trance and techno to bring you a solid four-tracker, like a journey through the darkness to the light.

‘Parasomnia’ leads and sees the pair lay down stuttering vocals, murky, reverberated bass swells, crunchy drums and hypnotic atmospherics throughout. ‘Emo Goblin’ then leans into deeper Techno realms via intertwined choppy stab sequences, shuffled percussion and dubbed out textures.

Opening the B-side is ‘Fantasmi’, laid out across six and a half minutes with dubby chord flutters, twisted acid licks and a robust drum workout. Lastly ‘Tension Dimension’, previously released on the imprint makes its way onto the vinyl, another hard hitting dynamic jam from the pair worthy of a home on this exceptional 12’’ release.
