Bård Aasen Lødemel, aka Skatebård, dove into techno and rave culture in the 1990s before becoming a producer of disco, house and techno with a retro-futuristic touch. Originally from Ørsta, he moved to Bergen in 2000, where he quickly became part of the city’s burgeoning club scene. After handing a homemade demo to Mikal Telle, head of Tellé Records, he was signed in 2001 to the sub-label Tellektro.
