When it comes to a certain strand of deep house, Tsuba is unstoppable at the moment. The label has just revealed they've secured an EP from the much-loved Galcher Lustwerk, but before that they're debuting Luvless with the Luv Machine EP. Fans of Mic Newman's music on Tsuba will warm to this with tracks like "Down With You Baby" sharing that same laid-back vibe heard in some of the Australian's earlier productions, while its soft vocals are similar to fellow Melbourne producer The Tortoise. "Be Mine" is driven by a strong sustained lead with sprinklings of disco drums and basslines with some classic filtering, while the title-track is a deep, yet light, euphoric house jam.

Stepping up with the second offering for Church's limited white label 10" series, is a pair who you can usually find behind the counter at Peckham's Rye Wax. Warming up winter with two fine UK house cuts, No Hurry open's up on a groovier tip while Juliette takes things a little bouncier with rolling percussion and beautifully spliced synths and vocal layers. Almost exactly 6 years after the release of "Deeper Shades EP Volume 1", Lars Behrenroth decided it's time to release more of his music. The 50th Deeper Shades Recordings release including 4 tracks with a total runtime of 35 minutes is an EP (Extended Player) in its truest sense.

The first track "Kord" is a deep and spacey groover which unleashes its full groove half way through. 
"Keep On", the 90's reminiscent track 2 on this EP is straight for the floor and a name familiar to all from Volume 1, Chezere, completes it with her vocal talents. 
"Time" is a melancholic and heady trip full of warm and deep chords and the last track "Denots" is an almost 12 minute long mid tempo journey through synthesizer and Rhodes sounds alike.  

Much like Volume 1, this 2nd edition of the Deeper Shades EP series is a small representation of Lars' taste and selection.
