The original poem used in this dub is 'Niz Niz Gade' written by - Dattatray Kondo Ghate also know as Datta Kavi. This form of poetry is called 'Angaai geet' meaning lullaby.
In this poem a mother is putting her child down to sleep by singing a song.. often fantasy.. but this particular poem stands apart as it touches the issue of housing, parenting and lifestyle of people from lower class.. including upper caste brahmins who were left behind by our system.
