Sergio Outeiriño es un DJ ourensano más conocido como Mou, nacido en el 93. 
Desde un principio interesado en los sonidos house y techno, empezó a pinchar en los eventos cercanos a su ciudad.
En 2014 You_el abre en Ourense Monkey club. Sin duda un lugar de aprendizaje y evolución en las cabinas tanto para Mou como para los DJs de la zona dando la oportunidad de compartir cabina con grandes DJs y ampliar horizontes musicales y sobre todo aumentar experiencia a los platos teniendo un público delante.
También en esta época comienza a intentar crear sus propios sonidos sacando un par de referencias en sellos como Rawcast o Too Rough 4 Radio.

A mediados de 2016, después de dejar mucha huella en la ciudad Monkey club echa el cierre y da paso a una serie de eventos llamados DIAL, que busca darle continuidad al trabajo realizado hasta el momento y del que se hace residente hasta la actualidad donde siguen innovando y trayendo artistas con gran proyección y de primer nivel y, a su vez, promoviendo la escena local dando grandes frutos y DJs residentes de enorme talento para la ciudad. 

En 2018 lanza su label Must Be On Wax.

EOS Radio Show - June '22

Next up on the Local Selection series, for edition number 178, we welcome Irish electro champion and all round legend, Eliza. We've been big fans of her mixes for ages now so it's an honour to host her, and we can confirm, this one is tops. 

Hailing from Mullingar, Dublin based Eliza can be found playing alongside some of the best in the business, in recent times on notable lineups with Jensen Interceptor, Radioactive Man and Bill Converse, to name a few. Her dedication to crate digging comes through in all her sets as her ear for selecting tracks has honed a style that meanders through the rawer sounds of electronic music. Not one to be pigeonholed, you can expect her to weave though pulsating electro, acid and techno, hearing influences of Detroit to Den Hagg within her sets.

She also hosts a monthly show with the mighty Dublin Digital Radio(ddr.), an independent, not for profit station where she takes a deep dive into her record collection. Another brilliant endevour are her vinyl workshops with Gash Collective, a platform focused on female and LGBTQ+, who she also plays with regularly. 

The mix she has created for us is a deep dive into the electro underground, offering up off-kilter groovers on a futuristic backdrop. This is one to lose your mind to. Don't forget to follow @eliza_r to keep up to date on where you can go listen to her.

The Awkwardly Cast turns 50 and @studio-natura is in charge of celebrations! 

Having first heard the Copenhagen-based artist play at one of the infamous @markleycph DIY warehouse raves, we immediately knew we had to invite him to the series. This set is just as classy as we'd expected from this aspiring DJ & producer,  taking us from mutant UK techno & bass excursions to beautifully reduced half stepping 180 bpm bliss.

Awkwardly Cast 050 / Studio Natura

The concept for this mix began back in June 2022 when I started taking an interest in the artists that followed me on Soundcloud. One of the first people I checked out was Emanuel; I was really impressed with their track 'May8X' and decided to try and gather enough music to record a mix. It took a bit longer than I anticipated, but the quality of tunes in exceptional and I highly recommend you follow all of the folks involved immediately!

In the end I also included some unreleased tracks passed to me by Robin Wylie, Ninechecker, Scatterbaux, Zodiac Childs, BufoBufo and WILES (they were simply too good not to share). The keen eyed amongst you will additionally notice two tracks from the forthcoming Jonny3snareS EP on Dynamics Of Acid... more news on that VERY soon!!!)

With a bit of delay due to a broken foot, this legend still got to work his magic on a 30-minute blend between his classic wavey synth lines, wobbly basslines, banging booty-shaking vocals & just straight up filth.

This OG has been living and breathing Detroit and has been revelating since the first time he stepped into the ring. Releasing records at Casa Voyager, RotterHague Records & Defrostatica while constantly finding new ways to incorporate dope vocal samples in genres ranging from Ghettotech to Jungle to ElectroFunk. Check a few of our favourites: "Crème De La Crème", his entire double EP "Original Not Crispy" & keep a lookout for his future release on Bass Agenda "Deliver Us From Evil".

The pair has gained international popularity since 2009 with their dark, melodic and skillfully produced electro funk.
