We are talking with https://soundcloud.com/jensen-interceptor aka Mikey Melas - uplifting soul, DJ and producer from Australia. He has been releasing singles since 2012, his energy rocketed with releases through Boys Noize and Sheffield’s Central Processing Unit (CPU) labels and numerous cool collaborations. His sound is combined from electro tradition influenced by the greats - Kraftewerk & Detroit sound - and modern edge, pop twists, moving dancefloor beats. His tracks has been picked up by many of the biggest DJs while sets played by Jensen Interceptor himself are delightful too.

Our promise of sitting still after a dancing packed ADE couldn’t last forever, hence why we have the perfect artist to get you going again: The Australian-born, London-based Nite Fleit has cultivated a distinct, uncompromising sound of her own, setting the club circuit ablaze, through refined DJ sets and genre-melding original productions. 

A kaleidoscopic palette of influences, ranging from golden-era rave and EBM, to contemporary electro and acid, runs through the artist’s recorded works. Distilling years of idiosyncrasies as a curator, Nite Fleit’s left-of-centre body music gems quickly caught the ears of many esteemed electro and techno elites, resulting in releases on Steel City Dance Discs, Return to Disorder, Planet Euphorique, Looking For Trouble and Unknown To The Unknown.

2020 did not slow things down on the creative side and made Nite Fleit more productive and creative than ever. In 2021 next to finally get the crowd going again at events like Butik and in fabric next to the likes of Helena Hauff, Sync24 x Alienata and The Hacker, she also released EPs on her own Atomic Alert (Sycophantic Romantic), International Chrome (The Truth) and the absolute kick-ass Acid Avengers 018 on Tripalium Corp together with the boss False Persona.  

Full-fledged acidic warfare joined by stomping 808s is exactly what we needed after this weekend, consider us entertained.

Australian-born, London-based Nite Fleit has found herself playing increasingly further afield with each passing each year. Real name Alysha Fleiter, she unleashed her first, complete solo effort, Steel City Dance Disks Volume 7, in late 2018, following that record up with Overcast on Tiffany D’s label - a four tracker comprising of masterful acidic slaps and punishing bass lines. A regular collaborator with long-time friend and fellow producer Mall Grab, the pair recently put out a collaborative record on his Looking For Trouble imprint, garnering support from the likes of Helena Hauff and Umwelt and propelling with club and festival dates across Asia and Europe. We caught up with Alysha to discuss the run up to her first solo record from last year, making the jump from Australia to London, her collaborations with Mall Grab and the feeling of Helena Hauff playing your music. Her Truancy Volume, blistering through for an hour and a half, is an electrifying insight into her uncompromising sound and genre-melding original productions. Featuring three forthcoming solo tracks from herself and a new one from her and Mall Grab, the mix channels electro and breaks with full ferocity into a thrill-seeking ride.
