Very fitting that when we celebrate 100K plays in 2021 we come across this party animal: Eclecticism is the keyword when it comes to the musical taste of LUZ1E. Based on her love of harsh drums, weird bleeps and bouncy basslines, she interweaves dark Electro with complex Breaks, Bass, Techno and the occasional dreamy bop.

Born and raised in Frankfurt she quickly developed a keen interest in electronic music when her brother introduced her to early House music. Inspired by the dance sound of Detroit, Chicago, New York and the UK she translates diverse sonic influences into her sets and productions released under labels such as
Lobster Theremin, Shall not Fade, International Chrome and Voitax, building a bridge between classic tunes and new sounds combining them into a notion of
Futuretroism.

Sharing stages with D.Dan, Mama Snake, Innershades, IMOGEN and in two weeks an insane B2b with Cyan85 joining the likes of Mall Grab &The Advent at OXI, so be sure to check that out.

We are counting down the days until our season closing where they will be joining us, but in the meantime, they have shared with us a set for our hereandthere podcast series. 

Raketa95 is the duo project of Prague’s power couple Theo and Jesse. Locked at home during the COVID lockdown, the couple spent their time digging through music and mixing. It wasn’t long until they felt quite comfortable playing together, gliding between various genres, and always with high energy.
