For 2k20 SOAME is back with a new EP release on Hive Audio and it's a big one. A staple within the labels roster since day dot, the prolific DJ, producer and promoter delivers three tracks on his brand new outing, the „Child EP“, which defo prove why SOAME has been rated one of the top dons within the electronic music scene of his homeland Switzerland for long. 

Opening with the title track, „Child“ SOAME presents a deep, seductive fusion of super dry bass drums, mystically floating melodies and blurred, fever'ish, non-verbal chants speaking to the very core of every punters subconscious whilst overwhelming bass waves and a certain, melody-inducing groove are rounding things off for now and ever, turning this cut into an all time favorite for a reason.

Following up is Gorge's rework for the EP's opener in which the German producer is flipping „Child“ into a muscular, detailed fusion of TechHouse and slowly evolving, ever functional melodic sound of hypnotically grooving, yet super groovy nature, culminating in one of the most extended beautiful mid-track breaks you'll ever hear out on dancefloors this year.

With „Old School“ we see SOAME finally exploring sonic territories built on a foundation of warm, seductive House grooves garnished with layers upon layers of warm, harmonic pads, friendly, playful and all embracing melodies as well as carefully reworked vocal samples for a sweet dose of additional thrill.

Jody Wisternoff & James Grant release 'Blue Space', the third single off Jody's upcoming LP 'Nightwhisper'. 

Written the week following label festival Anjunadeep Explorations, 'Blue Space' was inspired by the bittersweet emotions of the beautiful surroundings and people, coupled with the passing away of Jody's father. On the track, James reminisces "We built the track around an initial musical idea we had together, then Jinadu's beautiful vocals came later and took the track in a more optimistic but still melancholic direction". 

Nightwhisper is out May 1.

Opening the EP on an uplifting note, Chris Luno’s ’The Ride’ infuses electro synths and a captivating vocal to create an addictive cut that will leave listeners wanting more. Discognition devises an atmospheric soundscape with ‘Almost There’ by combining an airy vocal, delicate piano chords and an uplifting bassline, resulting in a slice of sonic bliss. Le Roy’s ’Singularity’ closes the compilation with a bang. Moving into a darker realm, Le Roy fuses a hard-hitting bassline with soaring vocals, resulting in a moody creation that has already made a solid impact in Nora En Pure’s sets.
