There are few things we admire more than a self-made man or woman here at Data Transmission. Therefore when we came across the tech-house stylings of fast rising Mallorca producer, Danniel Selfmade, it didn't take us long to become the most ardent of fans.

Having enjoyed a breakout 2015 that saw him touch work his magic as far afield as Tokyo and deliver standout performances in London and Berlin, his nuanced take on techno has seen him garner attention from the likes of Richie Hawtin and Marco Carola, who have similarly tipped him for the big time.

Maintaining his momentum through into the new year, Danniel follows up his dance floor destroying exploits for Deeperfect Records, Beat It Music and Tres 14 with the two track 'Actually No' EP for Miami based label Goldentears Records. Showcasing the title track as our latest Debut Transmission, we just can't get enough of this little number's murky bass line and tribal drum patterns.

A firm statement of intent from the artist and the label, expect to hear plenty from both in the coming months.

So here we go for 2k17! Starting into a new year with a new release on Formatik Records, the label debut for the young French producer Matt Sassari, the man behind a hefty string of releases on labels like Time Has Changed Records, Bouq., Relief Records and many others since he stepped on the scene in 2012.

With the title track „Foorewer“ we see the Frenchman provide a sweet take on looped and filtered TechHouse with a twist, living up to the standards by catering a menu of muscular bass, cut and twisted vocal bits as well scarce percussive bits and highly modified sound abstractions taking their influences from the more minimalist side of the electronic club music spectrum – an amalgamation functional as functional can get and defo a tune that'll be heard on dancefloors all over the place on a regular within the next months.

The second tune on here is „Funq Zap“; another on point production by Matt Sassari that's taking TechHouse to slightly deeper late night level, keeps bodies moving due to the use of precise drum, decent wood percussions and haunting white noise layers whilst our braincells are spooked out by warped and alienated vocals dealing with struggles of everyday's life on the street. C'mon man!

Common hobbies, musical belief and a desire to create, very quickly led to the first productions. About the production itself, both say, " it is like believing in God, or you have it in your heart or not" - you have to admit that accurate observation at a time when over all reflected in money and order of fame. Over the years DUSS sets the performance standard, which would not be ashamed of big names in music world. They traveled 'club Poland' widthwise, appearing also on all major events in country. Their productions permanently etched into the tracklist of top artists of the Polish club scene. Appeared on a compilation Godskitchen Poland, and also they were in top positions at Trackitdown. You can boldly say DUSS is one of the hardest working and most original duos in Poland, which also thanks to the hard work and amazing skills, secured a residency at the legendary club 'Luzztro' in Warsaw.
