When I put this mix together for my first Shams set, I felt really called to highlight a wide range of music that I've been loving. Although I love getting specific and creating a slow moving journey that way. There is power to be held in a set that takes you many places, while maintaining the continuity of a smooth journey altogether. I really wanted to communicate who I truly am as an artist. I love *so* much different music, so what better place then Shambhala to express that, to create a journey that isn't just one vibe. About Melo.Nade:
The name Melo.Nade stems from the fluid flow of the sound. With a diverse musical palette and almost 20 years of experience behind decks, Melo.Nade has refined his ability to read and move crowds at any time of day. Balancing dark and light, you can expect to hear sounds from deep dubstep to lustful world beats, breaks/garage, grime/hip-hop/trip-hop/soul/R&B, and thought-provoking bass music. Melo.Nade’s recent festival appearances in 2023 include Envision, Shambhala, and Wicked Woods.
Beyond beats, Melo.Nade's music holds purpose. A life-altering traumatic brain injury in 2019 shaped the trajectory of his artistry, leading him to embrace a shift in perspective and boundaries for self-care.
