As the Native American flute and Peruvian whistles search for “One Truth,” percussive rhythms support the binding of matter and spirit into one energy. “Eye For An I” employs entrancing trap soundscapes with an organic tribal flair. Nature comes to life in “Sirens,” as creatures who roam the jungle are dazzled by hypnotic bass tapestries. When the Sun’s path crosses the celestial equator, “Equinox” escorts wanderers towards a groovy celebratory dreamscape. Concluding the paradisiacal globe-trot, “Vilca” pays tribute to the sacred psychedelic ritual, offering one last dance in the shamanic wonderland.

Savej - One Truth [Rolling Stone India Premiere]

Atlanta-based producer Daily Bread (Rhett Whatley) presents his latest project, Purple Clouds, via Philos Records on July 24th, 2020. Purple Clouds serves as an homage to and coincides with July 2016’s Cloud Conductor release.

Similar to Cloud Conductor, the Purple Clouds EP presents a series of songs produced thematically around weather, using imagery of storms, clouds, and other familiar weather patterns as metaphors for 
life.

The cover art for Purple Clouds is constructed from an image taken by Tone Connect on a Polaroid SX-70 camera - the vertical white lines present in the photo are a unique artifact caused by the bent film 
rollers on TC's specific camera. Artifakts processed and assembled the image into the artwork for Purple Clouds, with a nod back to the original Cloud Conductor artwork. Purple Clouds is comprised of five new tracks, including a collaborative track with Philos-mate Derlee, who also appeared on Cloud Conductor.

Purple Clouds available now on all major outlets.

Sometime in the late spring of 2018, I had a chance between shows to stop over and hang out with Charles in Tahoe. He scooped me from my flight in reno, and we hit the road. One of the places we stopped on the way was Mt Rose. 
This track reminds me of how nice it was to get to relax and hang out for a few days outside of our typical shows and tour life. It's one of those jams from a night where everything feels all good, where you just fire up the studio and make music straight up for the enjoyment of it.

To friendship, mountains, laughs, creativity, stories, games, huge lakes and music.
