This song is about the fear of dying as a child. I would say a prayer before I went to bed every evening and part of this particular prayer always frightened me, "Flash I Die Before I Wake". This song illustrates my fears of dying as a child after saying this prayer, but remembering if anything did happen, I would be in a better place.
