So this is how the story goes.... people are always stoppin in, saying hello, listening to music, playing music, giving me life talks, so on so forth.  Lately every time someone has been stopping in I've been throwing together 45 minute tunes.  This was the Original.  I have about 8 now.  Some will make it up here, some won't.  But they're all wicked.

We are the artist

I play music not for fame or fortune, nor recognition or acclaim.  Happy or sad, laughing or crying,  alone, or in front of 1000 people, my passion is unchanged, my desire to play is relentless.  Music is the bond that holds my life together, and has been for as long as I can remember.  To me it is the ultimate form of expression and is the only outlet that I have that allows me to maintain stability, strength, hope, sanity, and relieves me of my pain,  anger, emptiness and sorrow.  It always starts with a feeling, an emotion, a thought, the need for an outlet. Whatever the need for an outlet is, whatever the emotion, feeling, or thought is that has to be released, I play that feeling, that burden, that excitement, that pain. The desire to translate the mood of the music in my head is overwhelming.  The music that I associate with that feeling has been playing in my head since the instant that feeling took me.  Words are manifested rapidly, melodies are subconcious.  I am hearing the whole song in my head before I've even began.  Every instrument, every interlude, every accent, all the dynamics.

Almost everything I do in the course of a day has to do with music. I write a lot, I play a lot of guitar, I play a lot of piano, I play a lot of bass, I sing a lot, I am on the computer mixing music and learning about audio engineering a lot. I love music more than anything else in my life. 

Through my music I aim to help as many people that I can, hoping that  they can relate to my story, words, or music, to ease their own struggle or suffering, or to help them to get through their own problems. I find purpose and humanity in every single person that I can affect or influence, or alleviate feelings of loneliness, hurt, pain.  It reminds me of why this is my pursuit. 

I have a studio/jam room in my basement and I've been learning to record/mix since October 2014.   I have done everything from start to finish by myself on all of these tracks. I have over 100 songs... there is a lot of work to be done!
