Wondercast 042 is live and we have the infamous Patrick DSP taking control for an hour of heavy duty madness.

Patrick DSP has been smashing sound systems around the world for several decades on three decks. Starting in his native Canada and finally landing himself in Berlin, where he currently resides. Beginning his campaign of techno in the mid 90s in Toronto, soon delved into the production side of things, and eventually mastering.

A quick study in the technical realm, the fast found himself working with renowned labels such as Kne’ Deep Records and DJAX Up Beats, providing mastering, production and remixes for various labels, all the while building his repertoire of twisted pristine sounds.

In between jumping from Canada, to Brazil, to Berlin, Patrick managed to expand his abilities, not only making music from film scores to blistering techno, but also using his mastery of production to teach others their way around a studio, giving classes and lectures around the world. Never one to rest on his laurels, he was also performing across Europe, South America and North America, spreading his techno sound from intimate local clubs to festivals such as the Love Parade in Germany, ADE, MayDay, Awakenings, Fabrik, Tresor and many more.

His musical skills, along with his diverse range of technical ability, have not only resulted in an impressive discography of international releases, but have also allowed him to collaborate with some of the most talented names in techno, earning him the reputation of a true techno stalwart.

Hailing from Hertfordshire, England, Perc, aka Ali Wells, began his musical assault out of the Home Counties from a young age. Being in indie bands influenced by the likes of Ned’s Atomic Dustbin and Wonderstuff at the age of 13, Perc was a self-confessed indie kid until the age of 16. Awakened to the sounds of the burgeoning '90s rave scene by his older brother, Perc left the guitars behind and began DJ'ing -- he also bought his first drum machine (a Roland TR626) the day after his GCSE results. At 18, he left the southeast and began a course on sound engineering at Newcastle University, where he started to produce techno influenced by producers Carl Cox and Jeff Mills. Teaming up with a fellow student, he became part of DriveSpace, his first electronic outfit. Shortly after finishing his degree, he moved to London and began performing and recording under the name Perc.

In 2002, he released his debut single, “I Make Nuclear,” on the Easy Space label, as well as releasing a couple of 12”s on Premier Sounds in 2003. In 2004, he created his own label, Perc Trax, and between then and 2012 saw releases coming from the likes of Sawf, Truss, Forward Strategy Group, Ekoplekz, and Perc himself. Throughout the latter part of the 2000s, Perc Trax established itself as the dark and hypnotic purveyor of driving techno and deep tech grooves. Perc himself described his own sound as “Droney, industrial-tinged techno. A mixture of 4/4 and broken beat stuff,” and declared himself a fan of early industrial and post-punk, with Cabaret Voltaire and Throbbing Gristle being major influences.

In 2009, he released "Throb" on Ovum and "Submit" on CLR, but it was his 2010 release, "Monad V" on Stroboscopic Artefacts, that made techno aficionados sit up and take notice of his productions. A major draw on the European and world techno live circuit for fearless DJ sets and his live act, he released his debut album, Wicker & Steel, in 2011. The album fused occult and pagan mystery -- as well as '70s British horror films -- with punishing, chopped, and pounding drum-driven techno, and was described by Guardian scribe Tony Naylor as “a bleak audio montage of modern Britain.” It went on to be featured on many end-of-the-year best-of lists. The track “My Head Is Slowly Exploding” was remixed by Throbbing Gristle's Chris Carter and techno legends Ancient Methods. Such collaborations cemented Perc's status as one of the torch bearers for the future of modern techno.

Singles and EPs continued on Perc Trax, Sleaze Records, and Stroboscopic (a split 12" with Xhin) in 2012. In 2013, Perc collaborated with Adam X (aka Traversable Wormhole) under the name AX&P; an EP titled Ampere&Ohm was released on a label of the same name. Perc also released Spiker, the first of several collaborations with Truss, in addition to issuing an EP of his remixes of tracks by Einstürzende Neubauten, Interpretations. Perc's second full-length The Power & the Glory arrived in 2014, receiving much critical acclaim. Additional 12"s followed on Perc Trax and Stroboscopic, in addition to collaborations with Randomer, Passarella Death Squad, and further work with Truss and Adam X. Perc's third album, Bitter Music, arrived in 2017.

Antonio De Angelis was born in the south of Italy in 1980, in 2000 he moved to London and he has become one of the few Italian artists emerging in the electro music in the UK... He started his career with the name of Toni D and he has steadily worked with many international artists and labels.. In summer 1999 Antonio moved to Ibiza where his passion for music got stronger, and in November 2000 he moved definitely to London where with his huge and genuine passion for music he managed to Dj in the best parties in
London, at fabric, One more, T bar, Half baked, Minimal hospital, Zum, etc ¦ Like this he became Dj resident at Kubicle, one of the best after party in the capital. After some releases with the label Safari, he met Arnaud Le Texier, they became friends and started a collaboration.... Also is start new project duo with Arnaud Le Texier called DETECT AUDIO.
In 2014 label boss Arnaud Le Texier together with his partners and colleague Antonio De Angelis decided to start a series of events in London for the label of Children Of Tomorrow.

In this time of Social Media futileness, true music is a rare species, promotional wise. But here we still trust the power of music and the amounts of hours spent in the studio. This is the case with this MasCon project, where he twists and mangle his tools extensively to produce pieces of timeless advanced dance music, and we are really happy to premiere it.

In this latest EP on Konsequent Records, combining his production prowess for four original tracks that deliver a combination of DJ techno tools and straight-to-the-floor goodness.

Miroslav Byrtus aka Dustman had came on club scene sometimes in 2002. In this age he most inclined to techno music which gave him new understanding of music, showed him how clubbing looks like through a DJ's eyes and changed his life completely. Once he started with playing in clubs mostly in Slovakia and Czech Republic, from this point it was very close to organize his own parties carrying names as Cadcatech, CAcityclubbing, Technoextasy or DrumRevolution. As time was passing he recognized DNB style as the best choice for himself, made him to be really addict to electronic music and became part of his life style. In the end of 2011 he started to work as a member of Crank Time crew which was organizing same named parties Crank Times which are the biggest DNB events in the northwest part of Slovakia in nowadays. Considering the sounds he prefers is dark bass links, aggressive sound with lot of energy in booth styles which he also tries to implement to his sets.

S hraním začal zhruba v roku 2002 a hrával prevažne techno. BPM mu však nestačilo, takže momentálne hráva  drum and bass v ktorom nachádza viac energie.V hrani viac uprednostňuje odnože ako jump up, techstep alebo neurofunk. Časom prichádza na chuť aj digitálnemu dj-ingu kde nachadza vätšie spektrum možnosti štýlov. Na prelome rokov 11/12 sa dava dokopy so Žilinskou crew organizujúcu už známu akciu Crank Time.
Jeho sety sú niekedy trošku temnejšie a agresívnejšie ale hlavne originálne, melodické a pestré.
Popri hraniu sa tiež venuje aj promotérstvu a tak ho môžme vidiet za akciami ako boli Čadcatech, Drumrevolution či CA city clubbing a ďalšie.
Prešiel si už mnohími klubmi, akciami (Technoextasy, Beefree, Beskyd Summer, Drumrevolution, DrumWars atd.) a zahral aj s djs svetových mien ako napriklad sú Zeus, Nick Grater, Inigo Kennedy, Agent, Jerry, Nika77, Boss, Schimek, Toky, C.phone(nomoney), Philip TBC,  IM Cyber, Ibogain (morebeat), Chris SU, Axiom či Exorcist a mnoho ďalších zvučných mien. K jeho najoblubenejším interpretom patria Rregula, Dementia, Proket, Skynet či Spor a  Audio.
 
Medzi jeho najoblúnejšie labely patria:Syndrome, White, Breakbeat Kaos, Commercial Suicide, Trouble On Vinyl, Renegade Hardware, Defcom Records, Ganja-tek recordings, Renegade Recordings, Alchemy Records, Triplevision recordings.
