Quagmire came together organically, I was fiddling with dnb type rhythms in 140 and once I dropped in the synth part I was loving feeling like I was at an old school rave listening to Ed Rush and crew/No U-turn. So I went with it.

Dirty came about one late evening. I had been working on something else and decided to see if I could start another track before crashing. Had the core of the song created in about 20 minutes. Sometimes it is like that. 130 bpm. The vibe is dreamy, hovering in the clouds, outer body experience.

Our next release is out 31/08/2018 in the form of a various artists free compilation. The release features music from across the bass spectrum, ranging from UK Techno to Dubstep and Jungle. Heritage start things off with a rolling tribal influenced 130 heater, leading the way for the likes of Hypho, 9TRANE, Jubley and Movement to set the pace, before Earthnut and Kono release that 140 pressure. Finally Harrta and Findingthings round things off with an acid influenced Jungle banger.

Bristol-based label Italdred (@italdredrecords) is soon to be releasing a new compilation, 'Inflorescence'. Although there are stylistic themes that run across all eleven tracks, the range included remains diverse and challenging, pushing experimental sound forward with powerful results. 

Ahead of the compilation dropping on 28 June, you can listen to "Far Fetched" by rising Bristol producer Namaste (@namaste_uk) below. It's a high-energy mixture of dancing metallic chords, rolling bass, and a clean rhythm. The undeniable and aggressive drill-style bassline is offset by syrupy synth chords that deepen the build-up – only to drop hard with ringing chimes and sharp, snapping snares.

"Everything On Time" is a collection of songs that were written over 10 years, now all finally being released together on vinyl/digital.

"Emo" and "KNS" / "KNS 2019" are my first collaborations with Metalheadz friends Agzilla (Iceland) and Kiat (Singapore) from over a decade ago, "Garden", with vocals by Morgan Neiman, was written in 2014 while on my first tour in Europe, and "Torpor" was written in 2016 in my first weeks of living in Western Canada.

All four tracks are unrelated in their creation but somehow all tie together to showcase a similar sound I have been producing for over a decade in various tempos and styles - all a reminder of particular times creatively and personally in my life. The wait to get these out was worth every second, and as the title states - everything is out right on time.

I hope you enjoy these songs as much as I did making them.
