Manuel Perez has been active in the modern dance music scene for several years as a producer and remixer. His reputation has been built upon his long, international DJ career. He was the owner of the Wrong Steps label in Sweden, and more recently became a key member of Marendadisc’s artist collective. Manuel began DJing in the mid-eighties where he became a resident at the best clubs in south-west France and Catalonia. During this period, he introduced early house and techno to a wider audience, working at legendary clubs like Château de Fitou and Rachdingue. Later, he played at early rave events, often inviting MC’s and live musicians to perform during his sets.
