This is a song I performed live at the programme, Live At Twente. This song is another song about Russia, and this time it is about the polluted city of Norilsk. I also like that the guys from Live at Twente added a little reverb to my voice. It suits the song, in my opinion.

When I returned to Live at Twente this February, I decided to play a song I played there before. It is quite strange but cool how a song can change over time. This version of consumed sounds very different from the early version. I think it is cool to try new things with (old)songs, and have different versions.

Hollow demo

Just messing around on my guitar and experimenting with layering guitars in the recording studio. In hindsight I think I didn't quite understand the concept of 'less is more' at the time ;p oh well, it was fun to do.

Hey guys! I'm Thijs and i'm a singer-songwriter from the Netherlands.  I listen to a variety of music, it depends on which mood i'm in. 
I try to write songs you won't typically expect from a singer songwriter. I always try to do my own thing, instead of copying something that has probably been done before.
I make music to express myself, not to become the next disposable popstar..

As one of my idols, Josh Homme(Queens of the Stone Age and other bands) once said: 'They did their own thing, and i should too'. And i think that's a great philosophy ;)
