Frenic - Remember Me?

Dutch is comprised of Jedi Mind Tricks’ Stoupe and vocalist/songwriter Liz Fullerton. The unlikely duo first collaborated on the track “Razorblade Salvation” on Jedi Mind Trick’s 2006 LP Servants in Heaven.

After working on a few tracks for Jedi Mind Tricks, Stoupe and Liz Fullerton decided to focus on a full length album.
Dutch’s first record, A Bright Cold Day was released on June 8th 2010. This record was the result of the collaboration of Stoupe and Liz Fullerton with the help of producer Scott Stallone.

The album features ten hand-crafted tracks which have conjured comparisons to the dark trip-hop aesthetics of Portishead, the soul-piercing melodies of Cat Power, and the wrenching sadness of Aimee Mann. Musically the soundscape isn’t really a vast departure for fans of Stoupe’s previous work with Jedi Mind Tricks.

When Dutch was ready to start touring, musician Ish Quintero joined the duo. Dutch went on to perform in different cities in the U.S.

While working on Dutch’s second album Stoupe and Ish Quintero decided to work on remixing some of their favorite songs of A Bright Cold Day.

A follow up album to a Bright Cold Day is currently in the works and will feature music and production from the same people that brought you Red Martina.

Liz Fullerton: Vocals and Guitar
Stoupe: Arrangement and Production.
Ish Quintero : Guitar, Bass , Keys and Turntables.
