One of the freshest imprints to watch right now, Stripes Records has racked up an impressive set of releases since their inception last year. With a roster that spans Bill & Will, Capsun, Kinzy, Monkey Wrench, Mystry, Spoils, Sukh Knight and Taiki Nulight it's little wonder that the legendary Red Bull Studios in London invited some of the Stripes Records crew down for two days to use the London studios; and here we have the Stripes x Red Bull EP.

Kicking it off with 21 year old Kinzy who combines grime, dubstep and minimal house into 'Elevation' a mix of unctuous bass and percussive chirps overlaid across a stark background that paints a picture of cavernous clubs and hedonistic underground parties. Spoils are up next, following on from their Delta Heavy remix with 'Silence', a club banger of epic proportions which shows exactly why they've racked up support from EZ, Gorgon City, Hannah Wants and plenty more of the DJ elite.

Bristol duo Monkey Wrench pick up where the '96 Grind' EP and their's & Spoils remix of Herve & Zebra Kats left off, taking in clockwork percussive hits and sunrise synths that draw you in to a world of gently grinding bass with 'Generation'. Finally new name Capsun offers some hip hop swagger and an intriguing look into the mind of a fresh faced producer with 'Skylla' a mixture of offkey future R&B and eastern-influenced funk. Unmissable music from one of the hottest labels on the block right now.

mvrs aka Mars is a Rapper/Singer/Song Writer with an incredible versatility. Originally from Alexandria, Egypt; mvrs was born and raised in Doha, Qatar where he followed an American curses. He often finds himself at a crossroad between different backgrounds and cultures, which allows him to notice patterns and contradictions, and gives his music an ironic twist.

The 23 year old gained an intense momentum through out 2016 with his consistent releases. Many of which have been featured on some of the biggest platforms in the industry such as HipHopDx, ThisIs50, IAmHipHop, RnBass, LAOnLock as well as various local and regional platforms.

Mvrs' next project, Out Of Bounds (OOB) is to be released mid-2017. Unlike his laid-back & passive-aggressive debut release “Theeb”; OOB takes a more direct approach. Trappy banger-like verses mixed with melodic and emotion-full hooks on one side, collide with groovy and upbeat jams on the other. With that, mvrs paints a picture of the trials & tribulations of 3rd culture in the most versatile way possible.
