I asked Mark if he’d like me to try and write something for the EP as I was keen to experience the process of writing in that way. I spent hours on numerous versions – different basslines and grooves but ‘Nerves’ is the one where it all suddenly seemed to make sense – a bass driven roller aimed at the decks and the headphones.
