Amongst clear hints of nostalgic influence, X CLUB. have involved a quantitive level of abrasive digital and analogue sound design in sculpting their signature techno-grime texture. Featuring four dynamic heaving club cuts, ‘SCUM’ explores tones of darkness while inducing a trance-like sense of euphoria. Blasts of contorted synth tones rage against mechanic percussive rhythms manifesting the scene of a dystopian industrial rave set neither in the past nor future.
