Dule is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Oulu, Finland. She started to compose songs while living in a small seaside village in Costa da Morte, Galicia, also known as Finisterre, “the end of the world”. It is from these edges of Europe and the melancholic corners of existence her music flows, following the fragile and mystic footsteps of 60’s and 70’s psychedelic folk, the likes of Linda Perhacs, Sibylle Baier and Pearls Before Swine. With subtle melodies of guitar, voice, violin and synths, crossing and harmonizing, she speaks of loss, sorrow and longing in love and nature. Her songs convey a person’s struggle to find meaning and light in the midst of heart-rending environmental problems and turbulent times.
