A man of many trades, the 25 year old D.J. Woody Wood has worked hard at his craft to be successful D.J. Living by the motto “Real Recognize Real and The Fake Fade Away" and “Get Right or Get Left”. Wood, born Ryan Jones began working on this special talent before 2000 in San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Jones is also the Chef Executive Officer of an Independent Record Label “Major League Productions” and a Promotional Company that goes by the name of “Major League Promotions”, both companies are better know as “M.L.P.”, “M.L.P. With a magazine feature in a 2007 issue of Ozone Magazine, the industry is well aware of his gift. Wood has also DJʼed at many clubs like Spiros, 1808, Bayou Lounge, Ninios and many many more. Wood was also incredibly well known for throwing/planning/promoting events and parties with a former label mate “Lil Sicc A.K.A. Ramone Stewart”, one the most excellent club promoters to invade Austin, TX.
Wood has had many mix tapes created, hosted by some of the top names in the industry such as Drake, Lil Wayne and Lil Boosie. The “Federal Property” Saga was hosted by each one of them giving the mix tape national exposure. Gulf Coast Beats - Federal Property 1.0 was hosted by Drake, Gulf Coast Beats - Federal Property 1.5 was hosted by Lil Wayne and Gulf Coast Beats - Federal Property 2.0 was hosted by Lil Boosie. Dj Woody Wood very first release was titled “United Records, M.L.P. – Capital City Connect Hosted By Magno and Liveola”. “Capital City Connect” was the tape that jump started his career from a hobby to a lifestyle in the industry of Music and Money.
