Hailing from Broward, Florida, Duvan, or Mr. Proper as he's known in the techno world, found his calling in electronic music as a child. Though born in Colombia, he was raised in South Florida, where his lifelong passion for techno's raw, hypnotic energy blossomed. His moniker, "Mr. Proper," speaks to his commitment to the genre's purest form, showcased in his driving, immersive sets. You can catch him at Miami's underground events, on radio shows, or at venues like M2. Duvan is also one of the founders of Hidden Rhythm Society (HRS), a Miami collective actively building and uniting the techno community.

Born in Colombia and raised in Broward, Florida, Duvan—also known as Mr. Proper, a name that reflects his dedication to the authentic, driving sound of "proper techno"—is one of the founders of HRS and the force behind the Do Not Face the DJ party series.
