Bang, slam, bang, bang, slam, bang, bang, bang, slam!

Hey everyone! This is my first track and I hope you will like it or at least see some potential in it. I want to make my music sound different, make it interesting but as a total newb - there's so much to learn about music production! Join me on my journey of discovery.

Milestones that I'm proud of in this track:
- making my first steps in an unfamiliar DAW
- that drum sequence that I played on the pads of my new midi keyboard
- the overall vibe
- everything, since it's my first track ^^

Training Wheels

Beautiful

Not my usual downtempo electronic groove but I had fun making this track! I hope you like it. It's a learning experience for me so all comments are welcome as always.

I'm not entirely happy with the samples being used in it but since I've created the music first and then just slapped vocals and beats on top of it to give it more depth - it's here! 

Personal milestones:
• the fact that I have added loops to my song while making it sound unique
• experimented with panning
• stepped out of my main genre
• used this song as a template to create several mixes of different lengths
• threw in a cheeky f word insinuation but it's actually not

Why?

Rain is a product of me, finding a feeling inside a vocal that sounds very different in its original form. I don't mean it sound wise but in terms of emotions. I wanted to create a more wholesome track and a minimal, sort of a deep house version of my previous track "Why?" that this song was actually built upon.

Personal milestones in this release:
• capitalizing on everything I've learned so far (panning, plugins, effects, instrument selection and composition, track arrangement, etc.)

Not that there's no more room for improvement... far from it! Your suggestions and comments are really welcome and always appreciated!
