We are happy to present you the new Klangwelt release produced by italian newcomer '1979'.
His demos directly drew some attention half a year ago and we instantly knew we found a new member of the Klangwelt family in him. His music can be described as soulful, organic sounding tech house and like in the italian kitchen, he is using simple but high quality ingredients to make his style this tasty. No more words of us needed , we will leave Giovanni a little space to tell you more about this release:

"FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE" was produced and recorded during the summer of 2015.
I usually spend most part of the hot season in a seaside resort near Venice, and even last year I've been there for nearly one month. It's really a great place to chill it out! When I came back home from there, I felt "sad" to be absent of this wonderful place.. In this state of melancholy , I started recording stuff in my studio, making some beats and finally put together a bunch of good ideas. I mainly have used some strange lo-fi field recordings, analogue synths from my collection and I also recorded a few pieces from my house's piano. The Ep wants simply (to) tell the story about some seaside adventures, odd characters and to celebrate a handful of lovely days near a Lighthouse in the Adriatic Sea.

Up first is The Drifter and he turns out what may be his best remix to date with a swelling, emotional ride that will most definitely be an anthem for the coming summer. Taking a different approach, yet just as engaging, Ruede reworks his original into a dark, looping psychedelic odyssey perfect for late nights or early mornings. Can Love Be Synth rounds out the remixes with a gorgeous Pop-esque twist on the original choosing to focus on live instrumentation and retro synthesis resulting in a cross-over favorite. And finally, for all the times you want the vibe without the vocal, a dub version of the original gem.

Six raw, synthesizer filled, mind tangling tracks by Duyster, a debuting duo from Scheveningen (The Hague) The Netherlands. Their journey began with "Ranzig". This recording of raw basslines, crazy syntheziser sounds with chopped up drumloops was recorded back in 2010.  This is the point where this mysterious duo start working together. And as you can clearly hear in "ranzig" they already had quite a rave history behind them. One year later this duo decided to spend a nice summer day in nature... away from people, cities, robots...etc. This magical experience led them to build this very pure form of sound which they called "Zaakje", almost just as pure as their day in "Meiendel" a beautiful spot in the dunes close to Scheveningen. They had to cross some borders and rules to get there... but hÈ... rules are there to be broken aren't they?  The rest of the tracks were all influenced by this experience. Listen and find out for yourself!
