In the last few months, I've tried to experiment with different sources, choosing organic sounds as a starting point for the composition, in order to give them more value.
From a bunch of tracks, I decided to work on these two because of the feeling I had by listening to them.
With this release I'd like to share part of the sounds I've been feeling inspired by lately, just the way I love the most.

Inner Whispers

"Danza Ipnotica" is a fast hypnotic techno track composed with a minimalistic approach in mind and intensively inspired to the elegance of dance, expecially in relation to the techno scene.
Like music, I believe dance is a way to express and release ourselves into other realms, and the connection of both is essential for deepen our primordial nature.

Danza Ipnotica

Portal is a groovy techno track with an unusual breakdown and a middle part which is aimed at taking dancers and listeners to a different dimension. 

The main groove of the track is broken by a central part with a diverse mood, more thoughtful and hypnotic compared to the other. 
In my vision, this special part is a huge break whose principle is, somehow, to take people dancing and listening to it in a state of reflection and awareness by “entering” in a new sound scenario, were they could eventually resonate. That's why “Portal”.
After a brief orchestral section the original part returns, taking the listeners back to the groove, more relieved.

It has been a new approach on composition, I was trying to experiment by detaching from my usual way of producing, and this track is the result of such exploration.
From recording to mastering it wasn’t an easy process, but at the same time was a meaningful one, that made me think about the importance of taking breaks from the standard approaches in order to give space to new perspectives, not only in music but also (and often) in daily life.

Portal (Original Mix)

This (self)release is inspired by George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984”. Written about 75 years ago, it somehow anticipated many of the absurd realities we are facing in the present.

The book focuses on the impact of totalitarianism, mass surveillance, and the strict control of individuals and their behaviour within society. It also explores the use of indoctrination, specifically through a concept called “doublethink”, where individuals are required to accept two contradictory beliefs as true, even when these beliefs contradict their own memories or perception of reality.

“WAR IS PEACE”
“FREEDOM IS SLAVERY”
“IGNORANCE IS STRENGTH”

In 1984, these slogans belong to “The Party”, a political organisation that preserves its power through constant surveillance, manipulation of reality, control of information, and the suppression of independent thought.

I encourage to read the novel, think about what’s depicted in its pages and how it compares to the modern times.
