Plasma Audio mark their 20th release with a solo EP titled ‘Distant light' from label founder, Safire. The EP compiles of two dnb and three half time tracks exploring moments in time that venture through deep soundscapes, distorted baselines, hip hop inspired beats & technical production. The EP depicts various styles which the label has grown to be known for.

Conceptual & artistic is the theme while each track has meaning intertwined into its design - from dark to light experiences to political messages, the EP has a rich flavour and will have you feeling the music more than banging your head, with some exception as one or two of the tracks have a remarkable energy that is sure to hurt any dance floor. Artwork for the release has been hand drawn by Japanese designer Nene of QQQ, full release due out 13th of November 2017.

Subplate Recordings proudly presents the return of Austria / Serbia based "Missing" on SUBPLATE-034 with some proper halftime magic. "Black Cat" (premiered on Noisia Radio) is a tune with hypnotizing warped out synths accompanied by low end frequencies drenched with hip hop swing. A subtle evolving groove with a glitched out vox to keep you locked in. "Stay Here" (premiered on DNBDojo) presents itself with an eerie dark atmospheric intro before dropping into its clever off beat percussive drum programming. Claps are the stronghold in this tune with its percussive lead coming in and out blending together to give its own unique flavor. * In celebration of the release we're also giving away a surprising free bonus tune called "Shrieks"

SWU.FM, The Blast and I Give You Give unite to release a charity album of current underground music, carefully curated to represent and celebrate the diverse elements of Bristol’s thriving music scene.

Priced at £5 (minimum donation) the album consists of 16 tracks from a cross section of Bristol's underground scene.
100% of the proceeds will go to ‘Help Bristol's Homeless’, ‘Mental Health Foundation’ and ‘Médicins Sans Frontières (Doctor's Without Borders)’.
