Exactly what you want in Afro, chill and vibey

In this composition, I took a laid-back approach with the guitars. The main melodies and pads are handled by other electronic instruments. The guitar really stands out in the second verse and during the final solo. As usual, all the sounds were created using the AKAI MPC.

Deep grooves. Warm rhythms. Sunset state of mind.

Boho Summer

Last year I went to a black out park where no light pollution is allowed. My wife and I went to the shoreline and watched an odd sounding boat fly across the water line and pause. It then began to hover roughly 100 feet in the air. My wife and I looked at each other astonished. Soon after it began dancing In a rhythmic pattern similar to how a Bee signals where pollen is. Two orbs came out of the water dancing in sync with the craft above. A shaft opened on the bottom of the craft both Orbs went inside the craft. The dancing Rythm changed and the craft fired three red orbs deep into the water. The craft continued to dance for awhile and then began to hover closer to My wife and I's location getting very close to the ground (roughly Twenty feet) We began to fear what would happen. The craft soon flew up in a lazy motion and then took up speed and vanished out of plain sight. We soon left the area that we had experienced this and watched as the Red orbs came out of the water and Began scanning where we had Been sitting. It shot a White laser pattern all over the area the orbs moved with excellent agility. This was a wild experience that showed me we are not alone. Thomas + James are a DJ & production duo from Glasgow’s West End. Growing up surrounded by electronic music, they began experimenting with production apps at just 10 years young and mixing on decks by 13. Clubbing in Glasgow has nurtured, shaped and matured their sound, with the backdrop of world renowned clubs like Sub Club, The Berkeley Suite and La Cheetah where they have flourished over a year long residency.

Following an introduction by a well known native, it was obvious the duo's sound was highly aligned with Verdant Recordings, fusing deep house, dub techno and minimal grooves. For  a teenage duo, their sound is refined, seasoned and well informed.

Insignia EP drifts between hazy dub techno textures and stripped-back deep minimal house with a 'wee hours' dance floor focus. Patiently arranged tracks swell with warm low-ends, atmospheric pads and precision tuned percussion. Ulf & Ralf revise the title track in their unique and unpredictable fashion for a gentler comedown.

Already in his early youth, DVN was captivated by music. Playing guitar as well as singing was the beginning of his love and passion for music.
Inspired by Deadmau5, DVN started to produce his own music in 2014. When House Music and Techno entered his life, he quickly developed his knowledge in these genres. In 2017, DVN had his hands on the turntables for the first time. With passion he quickly acquired the skills to create mixtapes and played in local bars and clubs. Today DVN wants to make a name for himself and does this by getting people dancing and thrilling with some hot tunes.
