Our guest this week is French DJ and producer Eric Fetcher. Best known for his fine mental dash and intricate modular assemblies which have been featured on the likes of Granulart, Pole Group, Tsunami Records and KEY, the Barcelona-based hypnotist laid down for us a two-hour shy mind-boggler of a - vinyl-only - mix. A true Rorschach test of gridlocked machine funk interwoven with tuff-as-nail hardware bursts and more atmospheric flights, this one will keep you guessing as to what the next bar may bring to the table. @manuabeca is a Buenos Aires-born producer based in Berlin. In his artist's universe, emotional depth becomes a guide toward one's salvation. 
Inspired by a range of musical influences, he constantly works on refining his love for dance music. His signature sound incorporates elements from hypnotic, dub, and breakbeat techno, among other genres, creating an enchanting musical experience.
He recently released his first EP 'inner shiftings'. From encrypted and intriguing, to vocal and etheric; the 5-track conceptual piece encompasses his sense of sound as a substance to conduct highly emotive narratives.

Italian artist Anfisa Letyago debuts on Rekids delivering two captivating cuts, including two brilliant remixes from Mark Broom.

For over a decade, this Neapolitan DJ and producer has been renowned for her hard-hitting techno tracks on labels like Redrum and Intec. She now debuts on Radio Slave’s Rekids, following the likes of Laurent Garnier, Spencer Parker, Hybrasil, P.Leone, and SRVD.

‘I’d Rather B’ starts with shaking percussions into soul styled vocals, fading out to deeper and darker tones, before ‘Pump It’ progresses into a smooth acidic background completed with a subtle groove undertone. Warp Records and Cocoon artist Mark Broom returns to Rekids with two remixes of ‘I’d Rather B’.
The first leads with a stomping bass and rupturing sirens, generating an atmospheric aesthetic from start to finish, whilst the second focuses more on the groove – introducing piercing claps, rattling hats and small bursts of vocals cries as the track continues to build.

Podcast #124 comes at you from Ukranian DJ and producer, Sqeef.

Sqeef’s unique blend of melancholic and spatial sounds had us fully captivated when we first discovered his music in early 2019 - his collaborative EP with Strom (UA) released that year, ‘Planetary Nebula’ (Northalsen Records) being a powerful, futuristic ride through interstellar space.

Sqeef’s hour-long mix for On the 5th Day rouses the exact same feeling - a cinematic-like experience thanks to the cosmic soundscapes and oscillating, organic percussions - each twist and turn taking you into a new corner of the cosmos.

Following many years as a classical pianist, Sqeef found himself drawn to the electronic music world - exploring the realms of ambient, experimental and the enticing rhythms and textures of deep, hypnotic techno. We're definitely grateful that his journey took him here!
