This @DarkScienceElectro label highlight is for legendary Dutch record label @Clone-nl - There is legitimately nothing that I could even say about the label that hasn't already been said about this 31-year-old mainstay. They have released some of the most important music in Electro music and their represses have made timeless music available to new generations of music lovers. We are forever indebted to Serge for all his hard work since starting the label in 1991. There cannot be a history of Electro without covering the major contributions of this Dutch imprint. Clone's impact reaches beyond just Electro music into Dub, Techno, IDM, House, and more. For the purposes of this mix, you could guess that my target was the more Electro-centric cuts from the discography.

A new track produced on 2/21/2025 - MPC One triggers TR8S, Microcosm, SE02, Microfreak, JX08, Hydrasynth, OB6, Minilogue, Prophet Rev2, and Peak. The vibe of the song most certainly doesn't match the mindset I had when writing it but, what can I say? That is sometimes how music production works. Next up on the 2025 Bass Agenda it is a pleasure to welcome Alavux back to the label.

His approach to sound has always been one of continuous improvement - an iterative process many years long. The comparison with mechanical engineering is hard to avoid, and not just because his sound is the definition of machine music. This is the product of a man hell bent on fine tuning; observing and tweaking every cog and flywheel, applying oil and polish using a microscope to achieve fluid, efficient movement at all times, whether it be in the guise of hi-energy broken beats or pumping 4/4 assaults.

2020 is already off to a great start at CPU with the highly anticipated E.P. from Trypheme landing 31st January and Condition Records label boss Calum Gunn dropping some experimental electronics on the 28th February.
