Native of Northern France, https://soundcloud.com/deemphasis was influenced in the late 80’s by German, English, US and Belgium Techno Music & Electro music. Later on into adult life he moved to Clermont-Ferrand, France and began releasing music under the name Deemphasis in 2010, with his first release debuting on https://soundcloud.com/umwelt-music label https://soundcloud.com/newfleshrecords

A year later he released his first full-length album 'Mechanical Beats', which launched his own imprint: Ukonx Recordings. Transmission incoming from Mr. Incognito's secret lab. Rat Life presents eight psycho acoustic models made by the low key East German producer. You probably never heard of him, but he is doing this thing since half an eternity. Rather than playing a lot of shows he focuses on studying the craft of electronic sound manipulation and what else can be said that: he is on top of his game! He shows us that it is still possible to create sonic structures that are beyond the usual by just using classic devices such as the TR 808 rhythm composer and a TB 303 monophonic synthesizer. Next level funk composing at various tempi!

KERG likes tunes of all shapes and sizes. His main influence can be credited to the music produced by the likes of Gerald Donald, Brendan M. Gillen, James Stinson, Gerard Hanson, Kraftwerk and Juan Atkins among many others. This has been a recurring theme that has emanated consistently through the years.

In 2009 he co-founded Binary Funk, a weekly online streaming show. This weekly stream kept going for 3 years and in 2012 after over 130 shows it was time to call it quits. This allowed some free time to focus on producing some music and in 2012 Craig Mac released music on Binalog Frequency, Borg Recordings, The Anti-Social Network and Shameless Toady.

In 2014 he started work on his new moniker, KERG. With the sole aim of diversifying his sound and exploring new styles. This approach has stemmed onto his new project, titled Cult Society.

Cult Society is an entity aimed at exploring and showcasing electronic music which is both boundary pushing and explorative. Exciting times ahead.
