Salma is a multi-genre Tunisian DJ/ Music Producer and Sound Artist based in Berlin. Through her music, she navigates home, nostalgia, and identity. Her practice centers on FLINTA* & BIPoC solidarity as well as crafting sets that are personally resonant and politically aware.

Chtih w Rdih is a five-track sonic exploration of a fractured psyche navigating the modern world. It captures the central duality of the uncontrollable hustle and creative mania of the city, contrasted with an unbothered state of effortlessly flowing through chaos.

The EP reflects this internal conflict through a powerful fusion of explosive breakbeats and deep, hypnotic grooves. Intricate Arabic percussion and melancholic melodies from the oud, violin, and qanun are woven throughout, creating a soundscape that is both ancient and futuristic. The project is a journey from overwhelming external stimuli to an unshakable internal calm.

French born but Amsterdam based for almost 20 years, Kléo draws on her work as a visual artist when she's painting colourful musical landscapes in the DJ booth. She also takes the same approach when programming soul, jazz and boogie at Café Belgique. It is a homely space that suits her heartfelt sounds, while her Red Light Radio show has become synonymous with music that is just as sensitive. After appearances at both Lentekabinet and Dekmantel Festival before now, she finally brings her bright and beautiful approach to our mix series.

Over the course of two hours she delves deep into lots of cuddly strains of house music from deep and jazzy to romantic, melodic and late night. Her tender touch draws you in close and keeps you there with lots of warm chords, pillowy pads and plenty of love struck grooves. This is one perfectly suited to long winter nights and snuggling up with close friends.

Arsonist Recorder from Antwerp, Belgium has been releasing and performing music of many different kinds over the past decades. A founding member and dj of aLOSTaSOULS, and has been active as a producer for many other projects. Since 2018 he runs the ZwaarteKracht record label, focussing on his old love for breakbeat-electro. 

Next to a steady output of tracks on each of the ZwaarteKracht 12” ep’s and a past EP on aLOSTaSOULS, he also releases music on UK label Specimen Records, with a first solo EP entitled “Vaxxer” coming out soon on that same label.

Arsonist Recorder plays out both as a dj and with a brand-new live-set.
