This week we check in with relative newcomer DJ @vaaskys

Crime (the man behind @FearNoSystem) is a DJ, which gets his inspiration from old Detroit's sound and aesthetic. His sound combines fast tempo Electro with groovy techno. In his DJ sets he is known for his deep basslines and kicks, which create an experimental mood, but at the same time is rhythmic. After creating the Georgian-based label 'Fear No System' he is focused on modernizing the Old-School Electro aesthetic into contemporary terms.

DJ Tankard is a DJ and producer hailing from the South West of England.

DJ Tankard has been involved in electronic music as a fan for years, but in 2020 began expressing his passion for electro in particular through DJing. This journey has led him to hold residencies across his local town Exeter, through which he aims to push electro styles to wider audiences. He now co-runs Lizard Tapes, a collective that aims to showcase and promote underground dance music across genres through podcasts, events, and releases.

Based in the South West of England, DJ Tankard is a 21 year old electro fan, producer and DJ, in no particular order. Primarily, he helps run Exeter's 'Lizard Tapes' collective who are currently running mixtape series, running local events and releasing music.

As a DJ, Tankard has cut his teeth over the last 2 years in his local town Exeter, constantly pushing electro sounds to new audiences across the town. And as a producer, his debut single was released in December over on FU.ME records.
