For this 93th Premiere of 2021, we have the "Sunko" Remix of the track by Russian Synth-punk band "Научный Сотрудник" (Nauchnyy Sotrudnik) titled ‘Гоголем Хожу’ from their upcoming EP "Бытовой инвалид" [PHY 077] on the Spanish-Argentinean sub-label of Diffuse Reality Records : Periphylla.

Nauchnyy Sotrudnik is a post-punk project with acute social texts and the pressure is truly punk energy. Add more to this powerful synth parts, punchy bass and raw drum machine, Then the result is an interesting style.

The scene however soon morphed into its own mini film - documenting the entire process on how this project was conceived & produced. Packed with Animistic Beliefs & Twilight Moose style electro, amateur space jazz ambient with a touch of G-funk and a very intense trip-infused hypnotic techno track!

We all have our own definitions of what Electro means to us as individuals and this series hopes to share those perspectives with the listeners of Dark Science Electro - Over the last ten years, I have hosted tons of guest mixes featuring DJs from every corner of the globe who I’ve asked to give me their interpretation of ‘@DarkScienceElectro’ for their guest mix. Generally, in the past, when I am soliciting a guest DJ, I insist that they mix their “weirdest, darkest, coldest Electro” and that has served the show well over the years in pushing my personal narrative of the genre.
